Anouk is the founder of Earth Sole, happy at the beach in nature, relaxed and freedom is what she loves!

About Us

The first Earth Sole was created in South Africa in 2020 by Anouk Anansi. She wanted to stay connected to the earth while enjoying the freedom of being barefoot.
 

Anouk made a pair for herself using recycled leather with a leather sole, allowing her to stay grounded. As interest grew over the following years, she decided to create her natural shoes for others as well.
 

Today, we are proud to have a small, talented team of artisans. Each pair is handmade to order and takes about 2.5 hours to craft. We prioritize quality over quantity and take pride in creating ethical and sustainable barefoot shoes that keep you connected to the earth.
